Prism Beta Stories
A UK-first project · balanced news for the next generation

We didn't lose our editors. We automated them.

The job of deciding what matters didn't disappear. It got handed to feeds built to hold your attention, not to give you a true, balanced or proportionate view of the world. Prism hands it back — starting with the people who'll inherit the mess.

What we're building

One story. Every side. Checkable sources.

Prism takes a real story and shows you the whole spread: how the left, the centre and the right are each covering it, the facts everyone actually agrees on, and the bit nobody's rushing to tell you. Every claim links to its source, so you never have to take our word for it.

It's built for teenagers first — the generation growing up with news delivered entirely by feed. No masthead, no editor, no sense of who's talking to them or why.

The point isn't to tell them what to think. It's to make sure they've seen the whole picture before they decide.

How it works · the habit it teaches

Three questions, every story

01

What's the floor?

Start from the facts all sides accept, before anyone picks a lane.

02

How's it framed?

Same event, different words. Notice which feelings each version is reaching for.

03

What's left out?

Ask what you're not being told, and who benefits from you not knowing it.

Who's in

If you don't want the next generation fed by a machine with no stake in the truth, I want you in.

Editors who spent careers making these calls. Developers who can build it. Teachers who see the problem every day. If that's you, let's talk.
